There is a place for everyone
To sit and dream of Summer sun
And places lush of green vegetation
Or a beautiful house of some distant relation
Your parents took you just for fun.

There is a place for all of you
To sit and think on old and new
Of what you think you'll do tomorrow
Watch the new pet rabbit dig a fresh burrow
In the backyard where the old tree grew.

So many thoughts for this one place
A private spot, a special space
To have quiet time without interruption,
Or thoughtless words which come with conversation,
This is a forgiving peaceful place.

I hope you find that spot out there.
Set just for you, no need to share
To get away from life's unkindness
